Session Structure

Your Hours.

Each session is 1 hour. Book one lesson at a time — there's no package and no minimum. Lessons set at your own pace. All lessons are booked based on instructor availability.

Session 1 — 1 hour
Assessment & Basics
We start by getting a read on where you are. Comfort with the vehicle, basic maneuvers, low-speed control. No judgment — just a starting point.
Session 2 — 1 hour
Streets & Situations
Real roads, real traffic. Intersections, lane changes, turns, right-of-way. Focused on whatever came up in session one that needs more work.
Session 3 — 1 hour
Your Focus Area
Tell us what you want to work on and we'll tailor the lesson around it. Every driver is different — your session should be too.

Adult lessons cover the same skills as our teen program — just without the DMV-mandated hour minimums. We move at your speed and focus on what you actually need.

CA permit required
Adults 18+ must hold a valid California driver's permit or license to book behind-the-wheel training. See below for how to obtain your permit.
Dual-brake vehicle
Same dual-brake safety vehicle we use for teen training — equipped with 360-degree video monitoring and GPS tracking.
English or Spanish
Instruction available in both languages. Just let us know your preference when you call to book.

Before You Book

How to Get Your
CA Adult Permit.

Adults 18 and older must obtain a California driver's permit before taking behind-the-wheel training. Here's what's required:

Step 1 — Before You Visit
Complete the Application

Fill out the California Driver's License or ID Card Application online before your DMV visit. You must be at least 18 years old to apply for an adult permit.

Step 2 — At the DMV
Visit a DMV Office

Schedule an appointment at your local DMV. Bring your California ID or proof of identity and residency (Federal Noncompliant, REAL ID, or AB60). At the office you will:

  • Pay the application fee
  • Pass a vision exam
  • Take a photo
  • Pass the knowledge test — 80% passing score required, based on the California Driver's Handbook. Tests are not available after 4:30 pm.
